This is important information, but employers also want to know: \u201cWhat\u2019s in it for me if I hire you?\u201d The best way to show them is by detailing what you\u2019ve done for companies in your previous positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

List your key achievements for each job. Show exactly how you helped each company improve in some way. For example, maybe you reduced annual costs by 76%. Or perhaps you implemented staffing initiative that resulted in reduced staff turnover by 48%. You don\u2019t have to include metric, but the achievements you provide need to be measurable in some way to show your true value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not Proofreading Carefully<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your resume can be perfectly formatted, but if it contains the slightest error, it could cost you a chance at your dream job. Mistakes can be perceived by employers as sloppy. Your resume is an employer\u2019s first impression of you. You don\u2019t want mistakes to give the impression that you\u2019re sloppy or lazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
